Our very first Beechview community harvest festival took place over the weekend of October 14th 2018 and was a ton of fun for the whole neighborhood! Community organisations were invited to set up info booths, and local food truck La Catrina Mexican Food Pittsburgh (same as the restaurant that used to be based on Broadway) dished out of delicious eats. Sparkledragon’s Magical Emporium stopped by with free facepainting for kids, and Rosebay Ridge farm brought goats who seemed more interested in snacking on the butterfly garden than on any of the other happenings!
We hope to see everyone again next year to celebrate a glorious and fun end to the season at our community garden.
